Key Largo Charter Fishing trips
Captain Henry specializes in backcountry charter fishing trips in the Everglades National Park just north of Key Largo. Backcountry, or Inshore fishing, basically means that we will be fishing the waters of the Florida Bay between the Keys and the mainland. Most of the time we will be in shallow waters fishing for species of fish that you do not find in the deep sea. The species of fish that we target are Snook, Speckled Sea Trout, Mangrove Snapper, Red Fish, Jack Crevalle, Tarpon, Triple Tail and several other inshore species.
Backcountry fishing in the Keys is also a very scenic adventure as you will be fishing close to the mangroves where many different animals like birds, crocodiles, dolphins, manatees and other wildlife live. It’s not uncommon to see dolphins and manatees on most of my trips! Because we will not be out in the deeper water of the Atlantic Ocean, sea sickness is never an issue for most people.

3 Hour Backcountry Trip AM:
Starting at $500 for 1 person.
The AM trip starts at 7:00am and we'll be back at the dock at 10am.
On the way we usually stop to catch live bait however this usually doesn't take more than 10 minutes.
Species we target: Snook, Speckled Sea Trout, Jack Crevalle.
Great for every skill level including kids. Add $50 per person for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th person.
3 Hour Backcountry Trip PM:
Starting at $550 for 1 person.
The PM trip starts at 4:30pm and we'll be back at the dock at 7:30pm
Perfect trip to see the sunset on the way back! The PM bite is usually on FIRE!
Species we target: Snook, Speckled Sea Trout, Jack Crevalle, Small Tarpon, Mangrove Snapper.
Great for every skill level including kids. Add $50 per person for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th person.
4 Hr Backcountry Trip AM:
Starting at $550 for 1 person.
The AM trip starts at 7:00am and we'll be back at the dock at 11:00am.
On the way we usually stop for bait.
Species we target: Snook, Speckled Sea Trout, Jack Crevalle, Mangrove Snapper (sometime Reds too)
Great for the experienced angler. Add $50 per person for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th person.
4 Hr Backcountry Trip PM:
Starting at $600 for 1 person.
The trip starts at 3:30pm and we'll be back at the dock at 7:30pm.
Great trip year long but especially from November - April.
Species we target: Snook, Speckled Trout, Jacks, Mangrove Snapper, Small Tarpon, Redfish.
Great for the experienced angler. Add $50 per person for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th person.
6 Hr Backcountry Trip:
Starting at $800 for 1 person.
The trip starts at 7:00am and we'll be back at the dock at 1:00pm.
Great trip year long but especially good from September - April. You must be in good shape for this one.
Species we target: Snook, Speckled Trout, Jacks, Redfish.
Great for the experienced angler. Add $50 per person for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th person
8 Hr Backcountry Trip PM:
Starting at $900 for 1 person.
The PM trip starts at 7:00am and we'll be back at the dock at 3:00pm.
Great trip year long but especially good from September to April. Must be in excellent physical shape.
Species we target: Snook, Speckled Trout, Redfish, Triple Tail.
Must be experienced and able to endure a lot of sun. Add $50 per person for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th person.
