Because we will venture into the Everglades National Park on all my trips, you will have to buy a Park pass unless you already have one like America the Beautiful, Senior Pass, Military Pass, Everglades Pass. Individual Everglades Passes can be bought at www.recreation.gov/sitepass/74278 You can also buy a Vessel Pass if your group is larger than 2 people. Children 16 and younger do not need a pass.

PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY

To secure your trip, you will need to pay a 50% deposit. This is done when you make the reservation online through a secure payment postal. The balance can be paid on the day of the trip with cash or credit card. If you feel that your captain did an exceptional job, tipping is always appreciated!

NON - WEATHER RELATED CANCELLATIONS

If a cancellation made by the customer up to 72 hours before the trip for any reason, you will receive a full refund of your deposit. If a cancellation made by the customer in less than 72 hours before the trip for any reason, it will result in the forfeiture of the deposit. The same accounts for no-shows. Because most people book their trips weeks and months ahead of time, it is basically impossible to fill a charter if someone cancels last minute and that results in the captain losing a whole or partial's day income.

WEATHER RELATED CANCELLATIONS

You safety is a very high priority for me and sometimes the weather might cause a trip cancellation. In the late summer especially, thunderstorms can form unexpectedly in the later afternoon. This can sometimes result in a cancellation before we leave for the dock. When this occurs, you will receive a full refund of your deposit up to the day of the trip. It is up to the captain only to decide to cancel due to bad weather. Light rain and scattered storms usually does not cause any reason to cancel but if there is lightning around (usually less than 10 miles from the fishing spots), the captain will cancel and try to reschedule if possible. If rescheduling is not possible, you will receive the full refund of your deposit.
