Key Largo backcountry Charter Fishing with Captain Henry Warrington
Captain Henry specializes in backcountry charter fishing trips in the Everglades National Park just north of Key Largo. Backcountry, or Inshore fishing basically means that we will be fishing the waters of the Florida Bay between the Keys and the mainland and most of the time we will be in shallow waters fishing for species of fish that you do not find in the deep sea. The species of fish that we target are Snook, Speckled Sea Trout, Mangrove Snapper, Red Fish, Jack Crevalle, Tarpon, Triple Tail and several other inshore species. Backcountry fishing in the Keys is also a very scenic adventure as you will be fishing close to the mangroves where many different animals like birds, crocodiles, dolphins, manatees and other wildlife live. It’s not uncommon to see dolphins and manatees on most of my trips! Because we will not be out in the deeper water of the Atlantic Ocean, sea sickness is never an issue for most people.
Off Course Charters has a fishing trip for every skill level ranging from the shorter 3 hour trips to full day or 8 hour trips. All my trips are relaxed and informative.Even if you don’t have backcountry fishing skills, no need to worry as Captain Henry will teach you the basics of fishing and more importantly casting.
3 Hr and 4 Hr Key Largo backcountry Fishing Trips AM
The 3 hour morning backcountry fishing trips are perfect if you have younger kids or if you just want to get some fishing action before it gets too hot. We typically catch Snapper, Snook and Jack Crevalle on this trip. On the 4 hour trips we typically visit a few more fishing spots

The 3 hour afternoon backcountry charter trips are also great if you don’t want to fish in the hot summer sun but with the added bonus of enjoying a beautiful sunset over the water as we come back from fishing. On the 4 hour tops we typically visit a few more fishing spots.
6 Hour Fishing Trips
The 6 hour backcountry fishing trip is a great option if you want to experience the Florida Bay and also experience flats fishing at Flamingo Bay. Snook, Speckled Trout, Jack Crevalle and many more species can be caught on this trip!
8 Hour Fishing Trips
The 8 hour backcountry fishing trip is a great option for the more experienced angler who wants to test his skill catching fish with live and artificial bait! On this trip we typically fish for Snook, Tripletail, Speckled Trout, Jacks and many more!
